The Center for Online Learning & Innovation (COLI) invites all new, returning and current adjunct professors to an Adjunct Faculty Information Session to help prepare you to teach during the Spring 2019 semester. Learn about employee resources, the library, the college mission, and technology for teaching and learning. Refreshments will be served. The session is on Monday, January 7th, 2019 at 5:00 to 7:00 PM in Old Main 119.
Just before the Information Session, there is a faculty tour of the Bouwhuis library, beginning at the Library Service Desk at 4:00 PM. Bouwhuis Library is a complex organization with a lot to offer faculty, students, and staff through its services, facilities and staff expertise. Our librarians are keen to support your teaching and research, as well as your students’ learning. The Library tour is a great way to get to know your Library.
These events are not mandatory but are a fantastic way to get up to speed quickly on the essentials for teaching at Canisius College. Adjunct faculty who are teaching at Canisius for the first time this fall can benefit but returning adjunct instructors are also welcome.
