I am an associate professor in the Animal Behavior, Ecology and Conservation and Anthrozoology departments at Canisius College in Buffalo, NY, and I direct the Anthrozoology Master’s program. My research examines factors that contribute to the success of humans’ relationships with companion animals, particularly dogs. I have taught the following courses at Canisius College:
