On February 24th, 2021, the Canisius Borders and Migrations Initiative hosted a virtual discussion of the new book Voices of the Border: Testimonios of Migration, Deportation, and Asylum. (Georgetown University Press). Authors Ma. Engracia Robles Robles, M.E., and Tobin Hansen, PhD. joined the conversation, that took place live on the web.

Ma. Engracia Robles Robles is Education Coordinator at the Kino Border Initiative. Dr. Tobin Hansen in Instructor of Anthropology at University of Oregon. The authors described testimonies gathered from migrants at the U.S. – Mexico border over a period of years, that form the basis of their book.
