Softball Meets Rider on Senior Day

The final home event on the 2011-12 sports calendar will be held on Sunday (May 6) at 11 a.m. when the Golden Griffin softball team looks to nail down a MAAC playoff spot versus Rider.
After sweeping Niagara on Wednesday and securing possession of the Canal Cup for another calendar year, the Griffs are now in a virtual tie for second place in the conference with Fairfield and Marist. Rider sits a game behind in the fight for one of the four playoff spots.
Five Griffin seniors will be recognized for their contributions during the day. For additional information, visit www.gogriffs.com.
