Free Shirts
By James | April 23, 2012
Whenever I give tours at Canisius, I always like to say that when you leave college after 4 awesome years you will leave with 2 things beside an education: 40 free tee-shirts, and 10 extra pounds. Kidding of course, in all seriousness you will accumulate a ridiculous amount of shirts throughout your college years.
Just last week the Unity club on campus gave out free shirts to anyone who wanted one.
The week before that I participated in a blood drive and received a free shirt just for donating blood.
The week before that I got a free shirt for going to a press conference about the hiring of the new Canisius Men’s Basketball coach.
The list could go on and on.
That said, it has probably become quite apparent that a plethora of shirts will be thrown in your direction upon coming to college. To illustrate this point even more, I was doing my laundry the other day and in one load I counted 15 shirts from this year alone – believe it.
At this point in the blog you are most likely asking yourself, “why am I reading a blog about free shirts?” Great question, ladies/gentlemen.
The reason I’m writing this blog is to tell you that you don’t need to purchase 25 articles of clothing before you come to school. You will get a ton of new shirts and completely forget about the ones you just purchased. Save your money up and buy a car, maybe a house, or even a vacuum, for you never know when a vacuum will come in handy.
LOVE THESE COMMERCIALS:
