Spring Break Begins!

It’s finally spring break! Yay! I feel like I’ve been waiting for this moment for so long!
So I took a trip for my spring break. And it wasn’t to somewhere most people would expect, I guess. Well, according to my dad and grandpa, “Ya know, most college kids go to Daytona Beach or Panama City for spring break, not Albany.” So maybe it’s not anything exciting or exquisite, but I’m in Albany! I drove out here to come visit Ben for the week. He’s pretty busy with student teaching during the day, so it’s the perfect opportunity for me to get work done and see him. This way I can be productive and still have a vacation (:
I got here Saturday night and we went out to eat at Chili’s because I was extremely hungry! Then yesterday we hung around his house for most of the day. I helped him grade papers (haha), but it was fun! We then went to the local mall and out to dinner…and grocery shopping! Haha, fun times in Albany!
Anyways, I received some exciting news today…I was accepted to my first graduate school…George Washington University! I have been officially accepted into their High Technology Crime Investigation Master’s Program! I still need to hear back from one other school and submit my application to another. They are sending me an information packet this week so hopefully I’ll hear on whether or not I’ve received any financial aid. But, either way, I’m so excited!!!!!
I can’t wait until Ben comes back so I can tell him! I hope everyone else’s break has gotten off to as great of a start as mine!
