Tis the season

By Michael | April 30, 2011

Usually I am late on writing my blogs because I sometimes forget. This week it was completely opposite. I outright just didn’t want to. When I read the email from Jim Rockwell (THANKS FOR EVERYTHING MAN!!) saying that April was the last month to blog; I knew these last four were going to be hard.
This is the season of many last. Tis the season to be happy and shed tears of joy OR SO THEY SAY. It is the last time I will walk these halls of Canisius as a Student. I KNOW for sure if I ever come back it will not be the same. That is not a bad thing just a growing aspect to college. Last time I will see people that have become my family. Just like brothers and sisters whining over chores. I have whined and laughed my mates.
Last week I had my last Afro General Body Meeting, and I have been in that club since I was a freshmen. Last week was my very last Afro Executive meeting, a board I have been a part of for three years. I will say goodbye to my wonderful WIRE E Board this week. This coming up week will be that’s last time I DJ for the WIRE. It really is crazy and amazing at how fast the four years have gone. But I will promise you that it was a great ride. I know for sure that I rode this ride and took it for all it was worth ($153,746 to be exact, but whose counting). I have had a lot of memories and stories that I am sure will last a life time.

I walked on this Campus Sunday, August 12, 2007 and will leave it Saturday, May 21, 2011 that’s 1379 days or you can look at it as:
119,145,600 seconds
1,985,760 minutes
33,096 hours
197 weeks
121 Credits
40 Classes
10 States
8 Semesters
8 Countries
1 Great Time
Thank You Canisius
