GPA and Jingle Bells
By collin20 | December 23, 2010
Well, the first semester is finally over! It actually went by fairly quickly. I’ve heard the first semester goes by much faster for those who dorm than those who commute. That’s good for me, haha. I’m excited for the second semester because it’s a fresh start. I did fairly well on my final exams and I like how the system works. All my teachers were very professional in administering exams and giving us our grades within a week and such. I did not get anything under a B-, which is excellent news! I also got an A- in my favorite class, which happens to be my DMA concentration class. I’m happy with how I did, but not totally satisfied. I want closer to a 4 next semester. Then again, who doesn’t. I’m taking Philosophy, English, History, Graphic Design, and Video Institute next semester. Those last two courses should be extremely interesting. I can’t wait!
It was very strange leaving the dorm. It was almost completely bare when I finally shut the door in the late afternoon last Friday. Only some posters, jerseys, and photos were left behind. Everything else came with. I had mixed emotions about going home, but in the end, I know I’ll be glad to be with family.
Now, it’s Christmas time! “The most wonderful time of the year!” I’m pumped to eat some ham, have some eggnog (not), and relax with my crazy little cousins. My family is huge, and I love Christmas Eve the most because that’s when the entire family is around and the excitement is the highest. I hope everyone has an awesome Christmas! Happy Birthday Jesus!
