Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow… ok we can stop it now.
There are things that are always promised in Buffalo and Snow is one of them. A lot of people think it’s ok for snow to happen. I personally think not.Think of snow like this: It’s almost like a rude unwanted house guest. An unwanted house guest comes when it wants and leaves when it wants. Snow comes when it wants and leaves when it wants. An unwanted house guest forces you to make them feel comfortable. Snow is the same way. You have to move it here….move it there. And then Snow never arrives when it’s supposed, NEVER! It says it’s going to come at 5, it arrives at 4:30 or 6 or 7. Snow is never punctual. How rude!
Then on top of that, Snow is very very very greedy. When was the last time you’ve seen Summer eating up all your money. Snow eats up your money in gas, shoveling, rock salt…And let us not even talk about how much money is eaten up when it teams up with Christmas Season. When those two get together you don’t know how much money you’re going to lose.And of course you know Snow is going to overstay its welcome. Invite it for Christmas and it stays until April.But it’s ok because Buffalo weather never really truly knows what it wants, because now it is 40 outside and it feels like it is Spring outside.
PS…..UPDATE
I wrote a blog last week that stated that towards the end of the years word like postponed, canceled and push-backed become more wealthy than gold… well I am proud to announce in the week since I have had the following:
A paper push backed…I would eventually get an A on, yay me!
A quiz was canceled…Sweet!
And a class canceled…yes!
