Music, Music

By collin20 | November 22, 2010

Music is a favorite hobby of mine. I simply keep up with the new songs that come out for my favorite artists, and new artists as well. I stick with the rap and hip-hop genres, but I dabble in indie and alternative music. Some of my favorite artists are Kid Cudi, Kanye West, Mac Miller, Wiz Khalifa, Death Cab for Cutie, Radiohead, and so on.

Earlier this month, two albums premiered from a pair of my favorite rappers. Man On The Moon II: The Legend of Mr. Rager was Cudi’s sophomore album. I’m a huge fan, and I even purchased the album as opposed to downloading it for free. The album was very good, but I thought there’d be more posters or a DVD in the packaging. Looking back, it probably wasn’t worth the $17. I do love the album though. Kanye’s My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy leaked online, so I acquired it and gave it a listen. It’s actually very good. It’s certainly strange, but I enjoyed it. A lot of work went into each track. In the end, I enjoy both albums. I’m more loyal to Cudi but Kanye is certainly back in business.

I have a radio show on the Wire, the online Canisius radio station. Our show is at 10pm on Mondays. You can listen at www.comdma.com/~wire, tune in! We talk about sports and local stuff. There’s lots of Canisius talk too, and we often interview Canisius athletes. It’s a great time actually. Please give us a listen!

Listen in!
