A Nightmare on Main St
By Tán | October 29, 2010
The smell of pumpkins pollute the air, screams that pierce the night, eerie clowns trying to “put you into their box.” Smoke machines and strobe lights, a woman with a baby in her hand, the classic “guy with chainsaw”, and free candy at the end made this haunted house super spooky but fun as well! They really went all out for this and I loved it.
Bosch Residence Hall also had an event going on called “Boschtacular” which consisted of the six floors each doing different events:
- Apple Cider + Cookies
- “Donut” Eat The String
- Decorate a pumpkin!
- Candy Apples
- Haunted House
- Wrap a mummy
I find that these events are a good way to bring the community together, even though not everyone participated. It’s little things like these that make me love Canisius; you have to make your college experience enjoyable!
Halloween is a time to have fun, dress up (maybe look stupid!), and just go all out! I hope everyone enjoys their Halloween weekend and stays safe!
