Well, I'm Just a Little Black Rain Cloud
By Sean Foran | October 27, 2010
Yesterday was the Rocky Horror Glee Show. Yes, I know that occupied one out of twenty four hours in the day. It was the defining hour.
I was a little disappointed with the highlight of my night. I felt like the writers didn’t stay true to Rocky Horror or Glee. And while the two are hard to reconcile, compromise just left everything as a mish-mash of confusing and mildly disturbing content. I am really not fond of the recent trend of having the teachers inappropriately performing with the students. It’s just awkward.
To be fair, I was watching the show after walking through a torrential downpour of misery for about ten minutes. Yes, this post was originally meant to be about the weather, and Glee sidetracked it. I’m only human.
Yesterday was quite possibly one of the top-ten most tumultuous weather days ever. It was absolutely gorgeous around three or so, but by six, everything was gray and windy and wet. There were tornado warnings, and class was let out early so we could all get home safely. And today it picked right back up where it left off.
This is what I get for living in New York. Either I’m buried under snow nine months out of the year, or the weather has mood swings that make me wonder what Mother Nature is thinking.
