Part Eagle, Part Lion = Amazing

Hey guys!
So this week is GRIFFIN Spirit WEEK! – What this basically means is that the whole school comes together to celebrate our school spirit and get ready for our huge game coming up on Friday vs. Niagara! It is the biggest game of the year and one I always look forward to!
I went to the basketball game last Friday vs. Rider and it was so much fun. Before the game, I went to Pack the KAC. I think I explained this in my last post and I have a few pictures of the event. There was a DJ, a chicken-wing eating contest and some of our dance groups performed. The coach of the Men’s Basketball team even came and talked to us all before the game to get us pumped up. It’s events like this that make me love my school. Oh and we won the game!! It was awesome.

So like I said, this Friday is the BIG GAME. I can’t wait to kick Niagara’s butt ;) – well hopefully! I guess this year it is going to be super packed because we actually had to get real tickets to the game. Usually you can just show your ID but to allow all of us the ability to actually go we had to get tickets – for free, of course!
Tomorrow I am participating in the MAAC Shootout at our school. Believe me, I got dragged into doing it but after practicing tonight I’m pretty excited. I played basketball in high school and really missed it so I’m excited to be involved in this event tomorrow. I’m doing the Girls shootout and the Co-Ed shootout and I have faith in my teams. :) – I guess we’ll see what happens!
