Matt Nathanson Concert

By Kaitlynn | September 28, 2009

The concert last Tuesday was absolutely amazing!!! I was not familiar with many of Matt Nathanson’s songs except for one. I did not know what to expect so I went in with an open mind. I loved every song he played. They were beautiful and exciting. His voice made me and my friends melt! Many times I recall getting goose bumps up and down my arms! Not only was his music amazing, but he had a real spunk to him. Although he did tell some inappropriate jokes, they were all very funny and I was laughing pretty hard! I think he did a wonderful job by connecting to his college audience. He was funny and there was never a dull moment.
I can really appreciate Nathanson’s music because he is a real singer. By real I mean he does not need any computer operated technology to make him sound better. He sang random songs that were not from his band and even they sounded good. He sang some 80’s music that got the crowd involved! I loved every minute and did not want it to end.
Canisius is a wonderful school and they offer many activities. I feel people should really get involved even with the FIVE dollar concerts because that is something I will never forget! It was a great experience and I certainly will be listening to his music more often!
