OHLAYY OHLAYYY is what I heard when I attended the girls soccer game against Rider. Being my second sporting event at Canisius, I knew it was going to be awesome. When I got there all I heard was noise from the stands as the athletes cheered on their women’s soccer team. It was extremely loud and annoying at first but when I got used to it, the noise coming from behind me was not so annoying anymore. I think the whole boys lacrosse team was behind me yelling non-stop, making up chants and making as much noise as possible, throughout the entire game. The best was the kid with the harmonica!! I’ve never laughed so hard!!
The girls did so good and won their game against Rider, which I knew they would. Sitting at the game was a little way of me to feel even more comfortable at Canisius. I really missed chilly football games with screaming fans from my high school, so I’m going to try to make many outdoor games before the snow comes.
Great job girls!! Keep it up!!
