There comes a time in life when all our pretenses and fake invincibility have to come down and reveal our humanness. From early childhood to even our adult life, we all wear masks to hide our blemishes and to cover up any sign of weakness, lest we be known as a feeble soul. We prop up our image, some times even unconsciously and vie for what is…CLICK HERE TO READ MORE…

The University of the Sunshine Coast is a few hours north of Sydney on the eastern coast of Australia. I checked out the website and it basically looks like a beach with a school on it! That sound awesome. But I have never been a big fan of the beach. I also peeked at the London study abroad opportunity. I love the fact that you end up traveling all over Europe…CLICK HERE TO READ MORE…

The first thing I did was went straight to the Eiffel tower. I climbed all the way to the top of it and the view was incredible! I could see all of Paris and it was a great way to start off the trip. After that, I went over to Notre Dame and got to take a tour inside and I…CLICK HERE TO READ MORE…

It is a very ritualistic action, nothing is what it seems. You have senators, who the week before were going at each other’s neck in the same chamber. You have Republicans and Democrats laughing and joking like its summer sweet tea time on a southern deck. Now I love the United States, that I truly do, but have you noticed that every year the Union is “Strong”. There have only been twice in the last 15 years that the opening statements didn’t say the word strong… PLEASE CLICK HERE TO READ MORE…

First of all, the game was sold out! C Block was loud and so full of spirit, which is the best and really gets everyone at the game going and super excited. I came to the game a little late so of course the seats were filled! In the student section I had to sit in the aisle were people walk, so we were kind of in the way. Craziness! But seriously, it makes me so happy to see how many people are supporting…CLICK HERE TO READ MORE…

I’ve never been so focused! I made over 100+ flash cards in less than 2 and a half hours today and it was focused on Biology! It feels good to know that I am prepared for next weeks quiz! I feel great this semester about my academics. Not to mention going to one of the Time Management workshops was such a good experience! I took much of the advice into consideration…CLICK HERE TO READ MORE…

The basketball game between the Golden Griffins and the Purple Eagles is going to be nationally televised from our very own arena tonight at 7pm EST. I will be in attendance and sporting my gold and navy. Canisius has posted a better record than Niagara this year in bball, but they’ve ousted us the past 13 out of 15 games. We need this win tonight. Coach Tom Parotta has…CLICK HERE TO READ MORE…

After spending my semester abroad, I really have become more aware of myself and my desires. And what’s more I have come to the realization that knowing what you want out of life is essentially meaningless unless you act upon it. So here I go. Maybe the worst decision I will ever make (although I doubt it), but I changed up my major. Now let’s just hope…CLICK HERE TO READ MORE…

Living in Buffalo, I am used to the city and everything it has to offer. To me, it’s cool to go to Rochester and go to their big coffee spot “Javas”, instead of going to Spot Coffee on Elmwood. Walking around the city there was so much more enjoyable, since I’ve never seen any of the buildings. I would always stop Alicia and ask “what building is that?” or “can we go there?”. It was funny because I was…CLICK HERE TO READ MORE…
