One thing that particularly hit me with this group is their reconnecting with their roots here in Buffalo. They are proud to come from this place and in spite of their popularity they still choose to come to this city and perform. It would probably be easier and even more profitable for them to go elsewhere yet they choose to come back, they choose to be back. I could spend hours attempting to spruce up programs to make them look nicer and function better. I think a lot of people find that boring, but, hey, to each his own, right? I really did enjoy my Fourth of July weekend. Sometimes it’s just really nice to sit and relax in the sun. I have definitely gotten sunburn though…multiple times. It’s okay, though, because I’m slowly remembering to apply sunscreen when I go out. I don’t know how I always forget! Life is more exciting when you look forward to everyday with a sense of eagerness to finish a task or work on something good. I’m not talking about work because for some that can be draining.
