Join the ABEC and Art History programs as they host an enlightening documentary about stray cats and their human companions. “Kedi” was distributed worldwide in 2016 and celebrates the relationship between human and cat as one that respects the wildness of the cat and the other is content to accept the care offered to them by those who share their domain in Istanbul, Turkey.

The film is shown as part of “Art in the Afternoon,” a series of art-historically themed documentaries and will begin at 1:00 PM in Regis Room on Tuesday, March 12, 2019. It is part of the coursework for FAH272 Animals in Art, and this screening is free and open to the public. N.B. The film is in Turkish and will have English subtitles.
