I chose to implement my intervention after the night that Scrooge sees his first ghost – his deceased partner Jacob Marley. I found that there were a lot of possibilities of symptoms that Scrooge could present at this point in the story.

In a little over an hour, the NHL Trade Deadline will be reached. While I have been checking in with teams across the NHL, I really haven’t seen anything mind blowing. While Pegula has been hard at work making some changes for the Sabres, I think it will probably be a while until we can see any long term affects from his “take over”. I’m more interested in the injuries that have been happening all over the NHL this season — it’s quite disturbing the amount of players that are out of the line up, and there’s still quite a bit of the season left.

Although I woke up on Friday morning feeling confident and ready to demonstrate my potential in my first teaching interview, my feelings dramatically changed to feeling terrified and worried after looking out the window and seeing the massive amount of snow falling from the sky. Luckily, I had planned to leave my apartment an entire hour early just to prevent the possibility of being late due to the morning commuter traffic to the cities of both Buffalo and Rochester. Even though I thought I had everything planned out, nothing could have helped me to escape the four hours I had to spend driving, just on the way to Rochester.

Started off the week with a nice, laid-back birthday outing, but I’ve definitely been up to some pertinent career stuff. I’m also looking forward to an exciting volunteer opportunity at the MAAC Basketball Tournaments next week, which are in Bridgeport, CT. Hopefully I can clear up this cold I’ve caught by then, but until then, I’ll just keep on keeping on. Click the title to read some more.

I was talking to my Mom over tea last night. Early in her career she was an eighth grade teacher and is now an English professor so it wasn’t unusual that we got on the subject of education. I showed her my literacy book and told her about a guided reading lesson plan I was designing.

Two individuals in my cohort are roommates and they are throwing an 80s Dance Party tonight for everyone in the program! I am STOKED!!!! Dancing around in ridiculous apparel is probably my favorite thing in the entire world! I don’t think there is a way to properly convey my level of excitement!

Well, waking up to a blizzard outside this morning made it feel like winter, for the countless time this season. The ups and down of the temperature has not only done terrible things to my sinuses but to my moral in general. Warm weather and the sun can’t come soon enough.

Sorry for the delay in posts. I honestly haven’t really had anything exciting to write about. I’m over winter. I hate not being able to go outside without 8 layers of clothes on. I’m also missing working at an arena right now. I’m bored at home, I need something to keep me busy. I’ve never been a person that could sit still, and since I got home from my internship, I’ve been insanely bored. Thankfully I have plenty of school work to keep me busy, but I still would love a full-time job. I have been applying a ton, but haven’t gotten much response. I don’t know what I’m going to do this summer if I don’t have a job.

Lets start this one off with some good news and keep it going with some more good news. Carmelo got traded to the Knicks! I’ve been waiting for it since around October and it finally happened so that was certainly a relief for me. It looks like they are building for the future waiting on a big name point guard in next years free agency. Anyways, I’m real excited about that and had to get that out of the way with the first paragraph.
