Eight weeks later and I’ve learned that I could never do sales for the rest of my life. I had a lot of fun with my internship and learned more than I ever thought I could, but with that said, I also learned that some people are just naturally good at sales and I am not one of them. I don’t get the rush that my supervisor would get when it came to making deals. It’s better to learn now than before it would be too late.

On a positive note, the meetings and events that I attended taught me a lot. It is impossible to be prepared for every situation imagineable, but you need to make decisions on the spot and go with your gut. There’s opportunity around every corner; make sure you talk to every single person that crosses your path. They could be someone influential in your future.
