Final Reflection on My Experience at The Buffalo News

Overall, I have had a very positive experience at The Buffalo News. Considering that this was my first internship, I honestly did not know what to expect. I was surprised at how much I was able to contribute to the marketing and promotions team. One of my favorite parts was helping them prepare for events. Even though sometimes I was doing repetitive task such as stuffing goody bags, I was able to see and appreciate all the small details that go into event planning. I also got to do a lot of marketing research, which I was not expecting. I learned as I went, and it turned out to be one of my favorite aspects of the job. I learned so much being an intern there and it was one of the best learning experiences I have had at Canisius College.
